Megan Schwartzhoff
Megan is a very responsible and dependable seventh grade student. She has a positive, friendly attitude and a terrific smile! Megan works well with classmates and is a friend to everyone. She willingly contributes to classroom discussions and show initiative to apply what she has learned outside of the classroom.
PARENT CARE -
The next Parents Care meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 21st, 2012, 6:30-7:30 pm. All parents of children attending St Mary’s School are encouraged to attend.

FISH FRY NEWS
The first fish fry is on Friday, February 24th. If you have signed up to help out at either the first one or the second one Friday, March 30th, you will be notified when your help will be needed. This is a great fund raiser for St. Mary’s School, and everyone’s time and talents are greatly appreciated.
St. Mary’s School TEACHER FEATURE
This month we are featuring
Mrs. Ellenz is assigned to teach fourth grade at St. Mary’s School. Mrs. Ellenz uses a straight forward approach to teach her students. She instills a sense of self-confidence in each child she teaches. Students learn to work together and on their own when they are in her classroom. Mrs. Ellenz is well known throughout the community as a helpful, hard working person.
Some facts about Mrs. Ellenz:

· Graduate of St. Mary’s College
· Hard working farm mom, in the classroom and in the barn she gets it done
RECYCLING/Can Collection
St. Mary's School aluminum can drop-off site is right next to Kwik Trip in Dr. Schoeberl's parking lot. The parents of 5th grade students are responsible
for maintaining the site. The side of the gate at the site opens. There is no lock to worry about. The following are scheduled to pick up the cans for the 2011/2012 school year:

Catholic Schools Week is January 29 through February 4th. There will be something “special” planned for each day. You should have received an email from Mr. Reichenbacher regarding the daily events.
